Argent on a saltire between three birds sable and a cock in base gules a cinquefoil of the first between four spears embrued proper on a chief of the third three plates, the first charged with a fleur-de-lis azure, the second with a rose gules seeded or, the third with a lion rampant of the second.
Note: There was a William Vaughan (fl. 1626) of Tarracod, co. Carmarthen, who was doctor of civil law
