Shropshire, England - William Tayleur (1803-1873), Member of Parliament, purchased the hall, son of John Tayleur of Bungtingsdale - John Tayleur Esq. of Rodington was High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1691 - Ermine on a chief sable three escallops argent. Crest: Out of a ducal coronet or, a dexter arm in armour holding in the hand a sword all proper.
