Montgreenan, North Ayrshire, Scotland - estate was purchased by Hugh Stevenson (1640-1700), clerk to the Privy Council, son of Hugh Stevenson of Kilwinning - the mansion house was acquired by Archibald Stevenson in 1755 but sold three years later - Argent a chevron between three fleurs-de-lis azure on a chief of the second three mullets of the first, a bordure gules. Crest—A hand holding a scroll rolled up proper. Motto—Fidus in arcanis.
