Heraldic/Genealogical Details:
Peter von Stein was enobled in Sweden on the 30th of September 1653, but was never introduced into the Swedish House of Nobility. He, according to sources, studied and travelled with king Gustavus Adolphus, reached the rank pf lieutenant in the infantry, and after that worked within the legal system. His coat of arms as shown below, with the Swedish blazon: ”En blå sköld, deri ett hjorthufvud med en öppen gul krona emellan tre gula stjernor. Ofvanpå skölden en öppen tornerhjelm; täcket och kransen med gult och blått fördelte. Ofvanpå hjelmen ett bart svärd med två gula stjernor emellan två vingar, halfva gula och halfva blå.”
