Roxburgh, Scotland - registered in 1755 - William Scott, son of Robert Scott (d. 1609), son of John Scot (d. 1582), son of John Scott, son of James Scott of Kurkurd who acquired the lands of Over and Nether Newhall, now called Burnhead - Or, on a bend azure a star between two crescents of the field, a bordure of the second. Crest: A buck’s head and neck erased proper collared azure the collar charged with a star between two crescents or, all surrounded by two branches of laurel proper.
