Dr. John Scott, London, 1864 - John Scott (1797-1859), Scottish naval surgeon, physician to Queen Victoria, moved to London in 1851 where he established a successful practice, youngest son of Rev. James Scott of Benholm, co. Kincardine -Per fess argent and azure on a bend a mullet between two crescents counterchanged. Crest: A stag trippant proper. Motto: Fidus et fortis (Strong and faithful).
Note: There was also a John Scott (1816-1865), born in Northern Ireland, attended University of Edinburgh, member of the Royal College of London Physicians, immigrated to Canada
