Rev. Herbert George (born 1838), M.A., Trinity College, Rector of Littleham, second son of George Morse Esq. of Catton Park, Justice of the Peace for Norfolk - Party per pale argent and sable, two chevronels between three mullets all counterchanged. Crest: A demi-man in complete armour proper garnished Or, his helmet open and surmounted by a plume of three ostrich-feathers azure, on his breast a cross-belt sable and holding in his dexter hand a halberd proper. Motto: Deo non armis fido.

He had brother, Charles Morse Esq. of Plumstead Hall, co. Norfolk (born 1820), and cousin John Hall Morse of Sennowe Lodge (1801), son of John Morse Esq. of Sprowston Hall, who was son of Francis Morse Esq. of Norwick, (1745-1837), alderman, son of Francis Morse Esq. of Yarmouth (1694-1755), son of Thomas Morse of Great Yarmouth and Kickling (1658-1721), merchant and ship owner, son of Francis Morse of Wrentham, co. Suffolk, son of Thomas Morse of Wrentham (1565-1653)

Charles Morse of the 11th Regiment (d. 1805), son of John Morse Esq. of Hickling and Norwich (1709-1779) who was private secretary to the Earl of Orford.
