Donegal, Ireland - The Montgomery baronetcy of The Hall was a title created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1808 for Sir Conyngham Montgomery (1765-1830), cavalry officer and Member of Parliament for Mitchell, Donegal and Yarmouth, son of Captain Alexander Montgomery of the Hall - Quarterly, 1st and 4th, azure three fleurs-de-lis or; 2nd and 3rd, gules three annulets or, gemmed azure all within a bordure argent charged with shamrocks vert, on an escutcheon argent a tilting; spear and sword in saltire proper. Crest: On a chapeau gules turned up ermine a cubit arm armed, grasping a broken tilting spear proper. Motto: Gardez bien (Keep well).
