Mitchell of Cork, Ireland - granted in to Pierrpoint Oliver Mitchell Esq. of Cork (d. 1835), Grand Treasurer of the Freemasons in Ireland, and to the descendants his grandfather, Hugh Henry Mitchell of Glasnevin, Member of Parliament for Ballyshannon from 1766-1768 and for Enniskillen from 1771-1776, son of Henry Mitchell of Glasnevin, Member of Parliament for Castlebar and Bannow, only son of Henry Mitchell (d. 1720), London merchant - Sable on a fess between three mascles or, as many trefoils vert. Crest—An angel in armour, holding in the dexter hand a spear proper. Motto: Toutjour pret (Always ready).
