Ayr, Scotland - registered in 1835 - John MacKenzie (c. 1755-1837), army surgeon who served as a burgess, a baillie, Treasurerm &  Dean of Guild on the Irvine Council, descended from Alexander MazKenzie of Davochmauluag (b.c. 1480) - Azure a stag's head cabossed or, within a bordure of the second, charged with three mullets sable. Crest: A dexter arm embowed, holding a sword in bend all proper. Motto: Fided parta, fide aucta (In faith acquired, in faith increased).
