Buckinghamshire (1833-1916), lord of the manor of Beaconsfield, a British newspaper proprietor, assumed the surname Lawson by loyal license in 1875 - Gules, a saltier parted and fretté or, between two rams' heads couped, fesswise, argent. Crest: A ram argent, holding in the mouth a trefoil, slipped vert, and resting the dexter foreleg on a quatrefoil. Motto: Of old I hold!
