Heraldic/Genealogical Details:
Rev. W. King, D.D., (fl. 1730-1740) - Sable on a chevron argent three escallops azure on a chief or, a demi dragon gules between two battle axes, the heads to the dexter of the second, and in base a cross pattée fitchée of the same. Crest—A dexter arm couped below the elbow erect, habited and cuffed, the hand holding a roll.
Note: Most likely a William King, but I can find no matches in the time frame. There was a Walter King, D.D. who preached two sermons at Gray's Inn Chapel, London in 1793
