James of the Close, Exeter, England - as borne by Harry James Esq. of the Close (c. 1782-1844), solicitor, Treasurer for the county of Devonshire - Gules a water bouget within an orle of eight annulets argent on a chief of the second a fesse per fesse indented vert and sable between two barrulets, the upper of the last, and the lower of the third. Crest—On a mount vert a bull ermine armed, hoofed, tufted, and collared or, the dexter forefoot supporting a water bouget, and charged on the body with two annulets, as in the arms.
