Somerset – earlier there was John Hunt (c. 1639-1721), Member of Parliament, son of Robert Hunt of the same place - Quarterly, 1st and 4th, Hunt, azure two chevronels ermine between three martlets argent a canton argent for distinction; 2nd and 3rd, Husey, barry of six ermine and gules a canton argent for distinction. Crests—1st, Hunt: An arm embowed vested azure cuffed or, in the band a slip of trefoil in blossom proper; 2nd, Husey: A boot sable spurred or, topped ermine surmounted by a heart supported by two hands issuant from clouds proper and on an escroll above the words “Cor nobyle cor immobyle.”
