Cornwall, England - The Hawkins Baronetcy of Trewithen was a title created in the Baronetage of Great Britain in 1791 for Sir Christopher Hawkins, mine-owner, High Sheriff, and Member of Parliament for St Michaels, Grampound, Penryn and St Ives, second son of Thomas Hawkins of Trewithen (c. 1728-1770), a considerable landowner and former MP for Grampound, son of Christopher Hawkins of Trewinnard, son of Thomas Hawkins of Trewinnard (d. 1716), son of John Hawkins of St. Erth. son of Thomas Hawkins of Managassie - Per saltire or and argent on a saltire sable five fleurs-de-lis of the first, a bordure gobony or and of the third. Crest: A cubit arm erect vested argent charged with two fleurs-de-lis in pale azure holding in the hand proper a baton or, tipped sable.
