Harvey of Wordwell, co. Suffolk, England - granted c. 1815 to Vice-Admiral Sir Thomas Harvey (1775-1841), an officer in the Royal Navy who saw service in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars and died as commander-in-chief on the West Indies Station, fourth son of Admiral Sir Henry Harvey, Sir Henry Harvey (1737-1810), who participated in the Seven Year's War, American War of Independence, and French Revolutionary Wars, born in Eythorne, co. Kent, second son of Richard Harvey and young brother of Captain John Harvey (1740-1794) - Azure on a pale argent between two eagles displayed or, each surmounted by an anchor erect of the last, a trident sable entwined by two branches of laurel proper. Crest: Between a branch of oak and another of laurel a dexter cubit arm erect proper the hand holding a trident or, on the staff a flag hoisted azure thereon the word “Rosario” in letters of gold. Motto: Dieppe.
