The Graham Baronetcy of Kirkstall in the County of York was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom in 1808 for Sir James Graham, Member of Parliament for Cockermouth, who later was a Member of Parliament for Carlisle, son of Thomas Graham - Per pale indented erminois and sable on a chief per pale of the last and or, three escallops counterchanged. Crest—Two armed arms issuing out of the battlements of a tower proper holding an escallop sable. Motto—Fideliter et diligenter (diligently and faithfully).
