Gordon of Glenbucket, co. Aberdeen, Scotland - John Gordon of Glenbucket (c. 1673-1750) was a Scottish Jacobite, fought in several successive Jacobite risings as a Major General, escaped to Norway and later settled in France, son of John Gordon of Knockespock (c. 1654-1704) who purchased Glenbucket in 1701 - Azure a saltire between three boars’ heads erased or, a bordure counter-compony of the second and first. Crest: A boar’s head couped and erected within an adder disposed orleways proper. Motto: Victrix prudentia.
