The Gordon baronetcy of Lochinvar was a title created in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia in 1626 for Sir Robert Gordon, gentleman of the King’s bedchamber, son of Sir John Gordon (d. 1604), son of Sir James Gordon, both of Lochinvar - he was succeeded by his son, John Gordon, 2nd Baronet, who was elevated to the peerage as Viscount Kenmure in 1633 -
