Herefordshire, England - Captain Kingsmill Evans (1784-1851) inherited the country house c. 1806, served as High Sheriff for the county in 1816, son of Colonel Kingsmill Evans Esq. of Lydiert House who died on wounds received at the Battle of Lincelles in France in 1793, grandson of Thomas Evans of Langattock (fl. 1696) - Per pale azure and gules three lions rampant argent armed and langued or, a crescent for difference.
