Norfolk, England - John Davy, Captain of the Royal Navy, son of William Davy (d. 1824), Rector of Stanfield and Sandringham, son of William Davy (1720-1763), son of John Davy (d. 1732) - Sable a chevron engrailed ermine between three annulets argent. Crest—Out of a ducal coronet or, an elephant’s head sable armed argent in the front of the coronet a ring, thereto a line and ring gold, turned over the trunk.
