Forfar, Scotland - William Cox of Clement Park (1812-1895), James Cox (1808-1885),  and another brother formed Cox Bros and Co., sons of James Cock (1776-1848), bleacher, manufacturer, son of James Cock, son of David Cock (c. 1706-1798) - Or, a chevron azure between two mullets pierced in chief and a lion’s head erased in base gules. Crest: A dexter arm embowed issuing out of the sea holding in the hand an anchor in bend sinister, cabled proper. Motto: Praemium virtutis honos (Honour is the reward of virtue).
