Glamorgan, Wales - Colonel George Thomas Clark (1809-1898), manager of the Dowlais Iron Works, antiquary, and historian, purchased Talygarn in 1865, son of Revd George Clark (1777–1848), chaplain to the Royal Military Asylum, Chelsea, England - Gules a fleur-de-lis or, and a canton ermine.
