Denis Bond (1588-1658), English politician who sat in the House of Commons and supported the cause of the Parliamentarians during the English Civil War, served as president of the Council of the State during the Commonwealth, son of John Bond of Lutton, near Steeple, co. Dorset, grandson of Denis Bond of Lutton (d. 1560)

He had sons:

1) John Bond (1612-1676), Master of Trinity Hall, Cambridge and MP

2) Samuel Bond (d. 1673), MP

3) Nathaniel Bond of Creech Grange, in the Isle of Purbeck, co. Dorset (1634-1707), MP, had son Dennis Bond of Creech Grange, co. Dorset (1676-1747), Member of Parliament, expelled for misconduct
