Northumberland, son of Buddle Atkinson (1841-1880), son of Robert Thomas Atkinson - Argent an eagle displayed with two heads pean between two flaunches sable each charged with a buglehorn, stringed of the first a chief gules thereon between two martlets or, a pale of the last charged with a rose, also gules barbed and seeded proper. Crest—For wale descendants, an eagle displayed with two heads sable suspended from the neck a bugle-horn, as in the arms, and holding in each claw a rose gules slipped and leaved proper. Motto—Deo et regi fidelis.
